Shielding effectiveness was determined using the measurement procedures of Mil. Std. 285. Testing was done at a FCC recognized test facility by a fully computer-automated EMC measuring system.

FCC Level Design and Construction Features
  • Heavy duty construction offers up to 3,500 pounds of evenly distributed static loaded equipment mounting, utilizing a combination of sheet metal and machine screw hardware.
  • Strong design with fully welded 14 gauge steel multi-formed 1-3/4" wide frame channel. All corner joint seams are welded and metal finished for strength and a clean appearance.
  • Frames, doors and all bolt-on components are fully zinc plated for electrical conductivity.
  • Rigid door design provides a positive and consistent seal around the door periphery through the use of a multi-point latching system.
  • A highly conductive, galvanically compatible wire mesh gasket provides electrical conformity for all bolt-on items.
  • All frames are supplied with multi-formed zinc plated panel mounting angles and an applicable hardware kit.
  • All items are finished with a high quality baked-on paint in a textured finish. Gasket points are masked off prior to painting.
