Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is the technology of minimizing the electromagnetic interference of electrical or electronic devices or systems. Emcor's complete line of modular EMC Enclosures and accessories were engineered with performance in mind. Tested to MIL-STD 285 at a certified test facility, this Emcor shielded enclosure line provides attenuation in excess of 100 db in the E-field to 38 db performance at 1 GHz.

Properly installed Emcor EMC enclosures will provide the attenuation levels shown on the graph above. Shielding effectiveness was determined using the measurement procedures of Mil. Std. 285. Testing was done at an FCC recognized test facility by a fully computer-automated EMC measuring system.
