With over 50 years of experience, Emcor has a long tradition of leadership in providing quality consoles and enclosures for the air traffic control market. From towers to TRACONs and RAPCONs, our installations span the nation and the world. No job is too big or complex.
Whether you’re looking for a customized ATC console for an Air Traffic Control Tower, Flight Service Station, or En-Route Center; or a more standard modular air traffic control console option, you can count on Emcor. With state of the art coordinated measuring machines, we are able to ensure the highest quality manufacturing standards throughout the fabrication process. On all customized and prefabricated ATC consoles, you can choose from traditional or slat wall console designs, along with the work surface material, frame, color, and component parts.
Traditional customized Air Traffic Control consoles have an enormous amount of panel work and are often put together and installed piece by piece on-site. All of our ATC console panels are precut to size and the cabinets preassembled prior to delivery, making the assembly and installation process on-site quick and easy, so you can get the tower up and running in even less time. The flexibility of Emcor’s ATC consoles gives you complete control over the layout of your control room.
We emphasize relationships with all of our customers after installation to make sure everything was installed correctly and functioning properly. Should you decide to upgrade some of the equipment in your console we can easily modify or create a custom solution to provide you with the most up to date technology and equipment. We can also supply you with a replacement panel/section of your console without shutting down your entire facility or having to do a complete reinstall.

The advantage of slat wall design is that it enables the controller to move equipment along the slat wall and position it as needed unlike traditional console configurations where the equipment is fixed in place. Slat wall consoles also allow the controller to work in a standing position, keeping them more alert and more focused.
Our expertise extends well beyond just designing and developing consoles. We tailor our design services and solutions to meet your needs, whether it’s examining current ATC console prints or designing a new console.
We take into account every aspect of the control room, including lighting, ergonomics, traffic flow, and acoustics to ensure the best working environment for ATC personnel. You can count on our expert ATC engineering capabilities to support you at any stage of your project, from concept to production. Learn more, request a quote, or contact us (507) 287-3535.
